About Theatre Binge
The idea for Theatre Binge came from the experiences of the two organisers, Tom and Tom, at other festivals and theatre events. They felt
that the city of Bath was lacking in exciting theatre opportunities for students. They also felt that there was a lack of theatre during the
city's Fringe Festival in the Summer, and so they decided to do something about it.
The result is Theatre Binge, a weekend student festival. The event will be held from 5-8 June 2008 during the Bath Fringe Festival and
will feature student performances, as well as workshops led by professional practioners who operate in and around Bath. The event will be held in
conjuction with the University of Bath's Institute of Interdisciplinary Contemporary Arts.
